Month In Google

Google started off the month with a history lesson.
This doodle marks the anniversary of Rosa Parks refusing to give up her seat on the bus. Apparently, some thought the internet giant should have chosen another way to mark December 1.

On the eve of Christmas Eve, Google posted a series of images.
Each image was special.
That's St. Basil's Cathedral.
That's the Acropolis of Athens.
That's a yule log (or Buche de Noel).
That's Mount Fuji.
That's the Great Wall of China.
Pierogi.
Indian dancing.
Sahara desert.
Oud.
Chili pepper?
Nepal.
Venice gondolas.
Chilean vineyards.
African kanga.
Up on the house top. Warning: link starts playing music.
Henna lamp.

And is there a better way to end 2010 than this?
